Individual Retirement Account (IRA)
Employed persons make annual contributions of up to $2,000 into this tax-deferred account, from which withdrawals will be made to the owner without a penalty after age 59 1/2. Withdrawals are taxed as ordinary income and may be subject to a 10% Federal penalty if made prior to age 59 1/2.
