Reverse Mortgage
A reverse mortgage is designed typically for a retired homeowner, who has no outstanding mortgage, to withdraw the equity in his or her home over a period of years by receiving a series of payments from a lender. Principal and accumulated interest are paid in full at the time the house is sold.
